Domestic & Family Violence

Culturally safe help when home is not safe

In many Pasifika and multicultural families, home is the heart — a place of care, connection, and shared responsibility. But when violence, control, or fear enter the home, it can be one of the hardest and most isolating experiences to face.

Domestic and family violence (DFV) can affect anyone — regardless of culture, age, gender, or background. It’s not just physical harm. It can include emotional abuse, threats, controlling behaviour, financial abuse, and cultural or spiritual abuse.

At Pasifika Families Inc., we stand with you in courage and compassion. We understand the unique cultural pressures, family expectations, and community ties that can make speaking out difficult — and we are here to walk with you towards safety, healing, and hope.
