  • Resilience – standing strong through challenges.

Our Values in Action

We believe true strength comes from walking together as a community — supporting one another, celebrating culture, and creating opportunities for future generations.

Pasifika Families Inc.

Pasifika Families Inc. is a not‑for‑profit community organisation based in the Brisbane and Moreton Bay area. For more than 15 years we have supported Pasifika and multicultural families through culturally safe services, programs, and community events.

Our work is grounded in love, service, and respect. We honour language, culture, and identity while creating practical pathways to wellbeing for children, young people, parents, and elders.

What We Do

  • Play, learning, and family connection through Pasifika Playgroup.
  • Parenting confidence and support via the Pasifika Parenting Program and PoliKoffee for Parents.
  • Positive father/child connection with Pasifika Dads & Daughters.
  • Creative, strengths‑based youth programs (ukulele, dance, and more).
  • Youth justice intervention and case support for at‑risk young people.
  • Community celebration and pride through the Pasifika Vibes Festival.

We operate primarily across Moreton Bay and Brisbane, welcoming families from all cultural backgrounds. When needed, we connect people to housing, mental health, education, and financial services through trusted partners.

Our Values

  • Cultural safety first — We create spaces where people are seen, heard, and respected.
  • Community‑led — Programs are shaped with families, not for them.
  • Integrity & trust — We keep our word and protect your privacy.

Our Team

Pasifika Families Inc. is led by a committed committee and staff with experience across education, social work, youth, project management, and cultural advocacy. Together we bring:

  • Community‑centred leadership rooted in lived experience.
  • Diverse expertise to design practical, holistic supports.
  • Innovative, strategic thinking that turns ideas into action.
  • Passionate advocacy for equity and opportunity.
  • Collaborative partnerships with schools, services, and community.
  • Cultural competency that honours language, protocol, and tradition.

— Tongan proverb

Papata pē, ka naʻe lalanga

It may be coarse in texture, but it was woven. A reminder that life’s journey may be rough, yet is purposefully crafted.
