Brisbane North Diwali Event a great success!
We’re excited to report that Brisbane North Diwali Women’s Event was a great success, thanks to each and every one of you who participated, attended, and engaged in the celebration. From the lively atmosphere and the stunning performances to the bustling stalls, the spirit of Diwali came to life like never before, painting a vivid tapestry of culture, unity, and joy.
A special shout out goes to our Mayor Peter Flannery and Councillor Yvonne Barlow of City of Moreton Bay, whose esteemed presence elevated the event, reinforcing its significance to our community and the region at large.
Thanks also to the UQ Australia Women and Girls Health Research Centre for their sponsorship, to all the stallholders for their wonderful support and participation, and to our DJ for creating an amazing atmosphere! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all for making this event more than just an event—it was a gathering of community, a showcase of cultural richness, and most importantly, a true celebration of togetherness. Your support and participation were instrumental in transforming this event into a lasting memory.
